If you’ve used the Media Clean Up Tool, this will feel familiar, but now it’s all about the playlists. Using both the Media Clean Up Tool and the new Playlist Clean Up tool in a quick 5-minute session could be the time saver of the year in Venus Control Suite!

How Old is too Old?
Take a peek at your playlist count. If you’re sitting on dozens or even hundreds of playlists, will you realistically reuse all of them?
If the playlist hasn’t been touched in months or years, it may be a good time to say goodbye. The easiest way you can do this is by using the “older than X date” filter to uncover playlists you’ve forgotten existed.
Clean Up with Confidence!
With a range of filters built into the Playlist Clean Up Tool, you’re in full control to delete any playlists that are or have a combination of the characteristics below:
- Older than X Date
- Inactive
- Expired
- No Displays
When combining the filters, you inevitably see a smaller list of playlists to clean up. Want to find expired playlists that are older than a specific date? Selecting both an older than date and the Expired box will result in playlists that meet both criteria. It’s like decluttering with laser focus!
